What are personal data?
"Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject"). An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

As a visitor to this website, personal data is any data that can be related to you personally, e.g. IP address, name, postal address or e-mail address.

What personal data do I process and for what purpose?
Visiting the website
When visiting this website, the following personal data may be stored in the server log files: IP address used, date and time at the time of access, source/reference from which you reached the website, browser used and operating system used. This usage data forms the basis for any statistical and anonymous evaluations, which are used exclusively for the efficient and secure operation of this website and its optimization. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve these purposes.

In the case of purely informational use of the website, i.e. if you do not send me any information via this website, only the personal data that your browser transmits to my server will be collected. This data is deleted as soon as you close your browser.

Contact by you
When you contact me by e-mail, the data you provide (your e-mail address, name and telephone number, if applicable) will be stored by insecor gmbh in order to process your inquiry. The data collected in this context will be deleted after storage is no longer necessary, or processing will be restricted if there are statutory retention obligations.

Mandates and services
For the conscientious processing of your mandate, I require minimal information from you, such as name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and, if necessary, bank details.

Application procedures and employment
The personal data usually required for this purpose will be collected directly from you and processed transparently for these purposes. As soon as this data is no longer needed, it will either be returned to you or destroyed or deleted.

Service provider
A company rarely comes alone: of course, for my company to be customer-friendly, smooth and legally compliant, it needs external service providers with specialist know-how such as IT operations, cyber security, accounting and marketing. If these service providers need access to your personal data, they are contractually obligated in advance to maintain confidentiality and to comply with the applicable data protection laws.

Use of Google Web Fonts
My website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. The browser you use establishes a connection to Google's servers. This enables Google to know that my website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of my online offers. For more information about Google Web Fonts, see the Google Web Fonts FAQ. The Google Web Fonts Privacy FAQ can be found here.

Which cookies does this website use?
This website only uses technically necessary cookies.

What about social media?
My website has links to various social networks. This is apparent to you in each case (typically via corresponding icons). These elements are configured so that they are deactivated by default. If you activate them (by clicking on them), the operators of the respective social networks can register that you are on my website and where and can use this information for their purposes. The processing of your personal data is then the responsibility of this operator according to their privacy policies. I do not receive any information about you from them and do not evaluate such data.

What about links to other third-party websites?
This website contains links (references) to websites of third parties. I have no influence whatsoever on their content, design, correctness, up-to-dateness, reliability or legality, nor on their terms of use and data protection. Any responsibility is therefore declined.

How do I use AI?
I occasionally use modern AI tools in my work - for example large language models (LLMs) or automatic translation services. These tools help me to refine texts, process content faster and continuously improve the quality of my services.

Such AI tools can also be used to support clients’ projects, for example to increase efficiency or for linguistic optimization. It is important to note that clients’ data, confidential company information and personal data are neither processed by AI nor used for training purposes. Protecting this data is my top priority.

When I use external AI tools, I only do so with the necessary data protection-compliant contracts in place (e.g. data processing agreements). I take great care with every deployment to ensure that applicable data protection regulations are complied with, data security is guaranteed, and ethical principles are respected.

What about the security of personal data?
All information that you send to me or my company by e-mail will be used exclusively to process your request and with a view to future contract assignment and fulfillment. Your data will be stored and secured on servers in Switzerland and in compliance with the applicable Swiss laws.

There will be no data processing without a reason, such as the transfer to third parties or personal evaluations. Exceptions are necessary data processing due to technical security incidents, behavior contrary to contract or criminal acts.

All appropriate organizational and technical measures are taken to protect the confidentiality, availability, integrity and accountability of the personal data under my responsibility. However, please note that the confidentiality and integrity of information exchanged via unencrypted e-mail is not guaranteed. This means that information could be read, modified or misused by third parties during transmission.

Finally, it is the responsibility of each individual (natural person and/or company) to protect his or her computer, devices and IT infrastructure accordingly and thus contribute to a safer digital world.

How long is your personal data stored?
Personal data is only stored for as long as is necessary for the respective processing purposes - for example, to fulfill contractual or legal obligations. As a rule, this includes the duration of the business relationship (from the initiation, processing to the termination of a contract).

In addition, certain data will continue to be stored due to statutory retention and documentation obligations (usually up to 10 years). After expiry of the respective periods, the data will be deleted or anonymized, unless there are other legitimate reasons for longer storage (e.g. ongoing proceedings or legal obligations to provide evidence or security).

What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the following legal rights with regard to my company:

  • Right to information
  • Right to correction
  • Right to deletion or destruction
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to revoke or object to processing
  • Right to prohibit certain disclosure of personal data to third parties
  • Right to enter a denial of service notice
  • Right to data disclosure and transfer

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you may contact me by e-mail [info@insecor.ch] or contact and complain to the data protection authority in the jurisdiction in which you live.

Amendments
I reserve the right to amend this privacy statement at any time with effect for the future. A current version is always available on this website. Please visit the website regularly and inform yourself about the applicable privacy statement.
